WHERE I STARTED
My journey began on the vibrant shores of Jamaica and continues under the South Florida sun.
In 2016, I founded my nail styling business, The Palace Beauty Co., and to say the least, it was rough. Starting a business brought many sleepless nights, yet the journey was thrilling and fulfilling. Most of the time I felt stuck because the work just wasn't coming as fast as the bill, I had no guidance, and I had quit my job before things actually took off. But with God's guidance, I found myself partnered with a few virtual agency that began to propel my business in a way I never imagined. I figured out how to maximize my efficiency as a mobile stylist helping me reach 5-star status on multiple platforms. This helped me land jobs with celebrity clients and prestigious events like Miami Swim Week & Miami Art Basel . I continued working diligently to build my home base clientele through word of mouth mostly, until the day I found myself having to post that I could no longer take new clients. This was a huge accomplishment coming from 6 clients my first month in business to a wait-list that I had to close at over 150 entries.
The last three years have brought me three of the biggest blessings of my life: my two amazingly sweet sons, the grand opening of my first spa location, and the beginning of my journey to empower emerging nail pros as a mentor, educator, and life coach!
